Being the incredibly impatient person I am, I simply cannot wait hours on end for my nails to dry. I paint them and literally expect them to dry, right there and then. Which is why I am a super fan of ‘Rimmels 60 Second’ line, where your nails do dry in (give or take) 60 seconds!
But on a recent trip to Superdrug I decided to be a little adventurous and purchased a couple of ‘Barry M Quick Dry’ polishes, (Superdrug currently has a buy one get one half price deal on their nail products, thank me later). I decided on two wonderfully purple shades and set off home to try them out.

Now I am a massive fan of the shades of these varnishes, and they’re very pigmented so it only took two coats to get that really full, vibrant colour.

However, the substance itself was very watery compared to other products I’ve used and I found that the watery texture combined with the shape of the brush made it quite hard to evenly distribute the varnish. Though this might just be because I’m used to the more gel-like formula Rimmel have.

All in all, I would definitely purchase the ‘Barry M Quick Dry’ polishes again, despite the texture of their formula I definitely recommend giving them a go as not only do the polishes wear well, but Barry M truly do host a vast array of colours to suit every taste!
