There’s something about the turning of a new year that I love, I like that there’s a whole year fresh ahead of me, ready to be written however I wish. Even though January 1st is just a day like any other, it feels sorta… promising?
Now I’m not one for making new years resolutions- because I just don’t stick to them.
Saying I’m not going to eat chocolate for January or that I’m going to start going to the gym every day is all well and good but lets face it, I’ll still be sat eating the remainder of my chocolate reindeers and re-watching the Harry Potter films in my pyjamas this time next month.
Saying that, I have attempted to set myself a couple of slightly more realistic resolutions:
– To dedicate more time to getting this blog properly up and running! (and maybe gain a couple of regular readers whilst I’m at it..?)
– New wardrobe. I’ve decided to start my new year with a new look (#newyearnewme *insert funny picture* ) The last month or two I’ve been phasing out my old wardrobe and mixing things up a bit. I love quirky things and being at Uni has definitely helped bring that out in my wardrobe!
It may not be much, but at least they’re realistic! (lets not kid ourselves here!)
